Ciara Van de Demro Stables
Ciara was born in 2008 and imported from the Netherlands in 2014; she has been performing for audiences in the Czech Republic ever since. She holds numerous awards, has been champion of many shows and carries the Ster title. She has produced one foal, a colt that was sold to the USA. Ciara stands out for her coal-black coat all year round, her elegant appearance, excellent movement and character. She is hard-working, willing and very affectionate, dependable in both daytime and evening shows. Besides circus elements she also masters more demanding dressage movements such as the passage and the piaffe, and she has been trained to work on the double lunge.
Gaike W.T.
A mare born in 2010, she is very calm, kind, extremely hard-working and has beautifully graceful movement. In July 2019 she gave birth to her first foal, the colt Kije van de Mano. At the inspection she earned a fine third premium award. “Chajka” is ridden under saddle, masters a whole range of circus elements and also has the basics of natural horsemanship. She shows all of this during performances alongside Ciara, and her calmness brings joy to the audience.
Nobel van de Noeste Hoeve
Nobel was born in 2012 in the Netherlands and was imported to us in 2016. He holds the Ster title and has won several shows. “Noblík” is a very appealing stallion, ridden under saddle and with the basics of driving. Circus elements are no stranger to him either: he masters the Spanish walk, rearing, standing on a pedestal, sitting down and lying down, and much more. Nobel stays mostly at home and is used for attractive photo shoots with clients.
AA Creek Midnight Dreamboy alias Kevin
Kevin is an American Miniature Horse born in 2014. We bought him at the beginning of 2018. He is a breeding stallion for American, Dutch and Czech miniature horse mares. In 2018 he became the overall winner of the stallion licensing and of the inspection of mares and geldings in Opřetice, with a score of 8.4 points. Kevin is still learning new tricks, but thanks to his inquisitive nature that is no great problem. He also masters difficult movements such as walking on his hind legs and the capriole. He is hugely popular with young and grown-up spectators alike.
Iris van de Gela
A young filly born in 2018. She has an elegant trot and is very inquisitive, and she is slowly growing into her beauty. She is ridden under saddle and is preparing for her performance tests. At the Friesian horse inspection in 2024 she received the Ster title and became Reserve Champion of the inspection. We have great ambitions for her; she is a mare with a very high-quality pedigree and great dressage potential. We shall see what she shows the audience in the future.
Yekje Van de Demro Stables
Born in 2018 in the Netherlands at the same breeder as Ciara, she came to us at the age of four. “Iky” is a very sweet filly who is preparing for the show ring. She is very clever and nothing gives her trouble. She already manages a great deal and is gradually joining her colleagues Ciara and Gaike. At the Friesian horse inspection in 2024 she was awarded a third premium and became Reserve Champion of her category, beaten only by her own stablemate, Iris van de Gela. She is also preparing for her performance tests. You will be seeing her in our shows soon.
Havana fan Henswoude
Born in 2018 in the Netherlands. She is our heart’s delight. It took 4 years before we found each other. She was recommended to us by a breeder we know in the Netherlands, and was chosen for her resemblance and her bloodline to our beloved Tsjerry – she is in fact Tsjerry’s cousin. She is similar in appearance, in her features and in her character. There was no resisting her; she is simply a horse of the heart. At the inspection in the Netherlands she was awarded a third premium, and we plan to present her at an inspection here as well. She is gradually being prepared for shows and is ridden under saddle. She fears nothing and nobody and is very popular with children. Her heart is in the right place. Performance tests await her in the future.
Kije van de Mano
The first offspring of the mare Gaike W.T., born here with us in the summer of 2019. “Kája” is very communicative and inquisitive. He is learning to work on the double lunge and has taken his first steps under saddle. He is a big Friesian, but very good-natured and with a big heart that he shares with the children at our clubs and camps.
Steven fan Wiekes Hiem
Steve was born in 2005, which makes him the oldest of our black pearls. He came to us together with our beloved Tsjerry fan Henswoude, who is no longer with us. They were our first Friesians, the ones who started it all, and for that we are grateful to them. Over his career Steve earned the Ster title and celebrated many dressage successes at levels Z and L, and he was the second-best dressage horse in the Vysočina Region. Today Steve is used lightly and is ridden under saddle.
Heidi
A mare born in 1999. She is a Kinsky horse and is also registered in the Czech Warmblood studbook. She collected premiums at Kinsky horse shows. She competed in dressage at level S, where she regularly placed among the leaders. Today she is enjoying her retirement and is only ridden recreationally. She has produced 2 offspring, the colt Hakim and the filly Sissi, who both inherited her perfect movement. Children love her for her character and her golden colour.
Tsjerry fan Henswoude
Tsjerry was born in 2006 and came to us in foal from the Netherlands in 2010. This mare is registered in the royal Friesian horse studbook kept in Drachten in the Netherlands. She held many awards and became champion of her category of four-year-old and older studbook mares at the Friesian horse inspections in 2011, 2012 and 2013. She was the winner and champion of many shows, both at home and abroad. In 2013 she also took part in the poll for the most beautiful horse in the Czech Republic and finished 2nd in the final. Tsjerry was a typical representative of the Friesian horse: a long mane and almost perfect conformation. With her powerful build she resembled a stallion rather than a mare; she was quick to learn, affectionate and loved attention. She produced one offspring, the mare Inka fan Henswoude, who is now the pride of her new owners. Tsjerry left us unexpectedly on 13 September 2021. We will never forget her.
